Bring the power of learning and evaluation to your social change work.

Is your work creating changes that align with your mission and goals?
You need good data to find out.

What Is Evaluation?

Evaluation — sometimes called social impact measurement — is a process that helps you gather and learn from meaningful information about your work and community. It can give you insights to guide decisions, improve practices, and demonstrate your impact to funders and donors, all while helping your organization plan, grow, and inspire support.

Robin Horner

Meet Radiance’s Leader, Robin Horner

My parents taught me the importance of fighting for justice through activism and policy advocacy and the power of the arts to raise critical questions, to heal, and to change society. One of my earliest memories of my mother is of her coming home from a protest march and explaining the meaning of the political pin on her jacket.

These lessons stayed with me through my past careers as a dancer, educator, youth mentor, grant writer, and other roles for nonprofits and foundations, as well as community organizing for reproductive justice issues. (Yes, it’s been a long and winding road!)

As a grant writer, I heard executive directors struggle to communicate the value of their work to grant makers and donors. When I learned about program evaluation, I realized this was the missing piece so many of them needed.

Now I help people learn about their impact and communicate about their work to funders, so they can do more of it!

And I support grant makers and others spread the word about successful strategies, emerging issues, and notable organizations, so others can join them in building capacity and movements.

I’m driven by a desire to contribute to the greater good, and I’ve built a team that’s just as dedicated to that goal. We want to help you build people’s access to the services, opportunities, and information they need to thrive.

It’s a brave new day.

How can we use the power of evaluation to help you weather these times and fulfill your vision?
